Pinocchio & Peter Pan :)

20. 09. 2016.

If it was possible to look at the seasons with some kind of imaginary binoculars, then today’s picture would be quite unusual – summer and fall waving to us, one saying goodbye, the other one saying hello!

There are two moments during the year when a new beginning comes natural to us – in the spring and when autumn arrives. Summer does not count. Summer is insane, everybody’s a bit like Peter Pan. And winter is too sleepy.

But with the arrival of the fall, we somehow become wide awake and responsible – like when Pinocchio gives a promise to the fairy godmother that he will be good so he could become a real boy one day. But, same as the little wooden puppet, we also get lost in our plans, even for a little while in our mind. And then we suddenly find ourselves in the mid of the crazy summer! ‘Did we waste it, was it possible to save it a bit so it would last longer?’ We are reconsidering it, like Momo Kapor did, knowing the answer, the same as him.

But, even without sun and salt, autumn is still enchanting – it is maybe the only season when we don’t have to long too much for an adventure and a journey.  It is the autumn that charms us while we soak up our view on the color of the leaves, no matter where we live.
