It is not fenced with any compromises and prejudices, it keeps up with its mission to fight for a more civil, noble and cultural society. Ivana Stefanović

BUNT festival was born from the need to provide resistance, to react to the suppression of the classical and contemporary music scene. BUNT can be translated as rebellion, but the word was cleverly created from the initial letters of the main idea that this festival stands for: Belgrade Artistic New Territory!

This year it celebrates its fifth birthday continuing its artistic riot under the slogan "BUNT in the city". In the period of 1. – 9. November the audience will have the opportunity to listen to a diverse repertoire of classical and modern composers, and to attend the tribunes and promotions of the latest books regarding music thematic.

BUNT is very devoted to inclusion, so this year a wonderful concert is taking place - the young people with autism will perform, along with the children’s choir, some of the most beautiful and famous songs for children. The opening of the festival at Kolarac Hall is reserved for Katarina Jovanovic (soprano), Rita Kinka (piano) and Jelena Filipovic (viola) with the program of Hayden, Beethoven and Brahms that can rarely be heard on stage. Young artists, Children’s Philharmony, contemporary composers, premiers, forgotten pieces, Mokranjac and his Galrands performed by the double bass ensemble…this and many more is expected on this year’s BUNT festival! BUNT reminds you: we are here – in the city! Welcome!
